Hvshi is the Choctaw language word for sun.
Hvshi is a minimalist interpretation of traditional Choctaw triple medallion beadwork. Inspired by the sacred sun represented in our regalia, this design symbolizes new beginnings and fresh starts associated with the East direction. The sun represents warmth, light, and life-giving energy.
Hvshi is comprised of three brick-stitched circles connected with metallic beads. The fabric of the beadwork is slightly flexible, not rigid, and should be worn with care to retain its shape. Hvshi contains 423 delicate glass beads in each earring and is 3" long
